Award winning Cairns builder
Lizard Island Wilson Villa

Lizard Island Wilson Villa is a bespoke in-situ concrete design by JD Architects for use of resort guests to experience the Great Barrier Reef and surrounds. Sited on a hill top with immediate beach and reef access this is an impressive destination for guests and the Builder's crew alike. Constructing in this remote location occurred via monthly barges and offsite materials procurement planning. Once the barges were landed all goods were unloaded via Tele handler‘s to deliver materials one kilometre from the beach access to the Villa. Site concrete was batched using loaders and a self-sufficient concrete plant. Richard Field Constructions completed this build with DBL space providing the residence mainly to lock up. A temporary kitchen, messing, ablutions and accommodation for up to 16 workers was built on site.
